Project — Late 2017 saw the founding of a company offering bespoke financial services to participants in the German art industry. This branding pitch suggested a conservative but nevertheless culture-savvy pictorial language alongside a solid logo and signet.
The company’s new brand identity had to project sufficient aesthetic clout to be trusted by critical art world audiences used to premium design. The main challenge was to convey both the solidity and reliability of a financial services provider and simultaneously illustrate the aspirations of its client base. Art-centric loans and credit were to be rendered a convenient lifestyle product, like buying a new sofa or kitchen in instalments. Superior results notwithstanding, the company decided to continue on with their in-house designer, as visible in their currently operative identity.
A home without art is not a home.
