Corporate identity concept done for an Istanbul-based contemporary art gallery rebrand that in 2016 opened a second branch in Berlin which a friend started working for. The pitch developed a blue chip brand logo akin in nature to that of many big industry players, whilst keeping all stationery and PR designs clean and pared-down. When considering the increasingly competitive market situation for mid-size galleries and the comparative nature of international art fairs, where booths and gallery identities are judged side-by-side, this rebrand seemed urgent and highly advisable. Regrettably, the gallery owner decided to stick with his outdated designs. The gallery’s real name and details were subsequently altered here for discretion and portfolio reasons.
