Beauty magazin website for SHAMANIC, a new beauty brand specialising in wild-harvested organic oils from the Amazonas. Besides art-directing the overall look and feel of SHAMANIC Magazine, its typography and contemporary fashion styling, this office was also responsible for all accompanying image editorial choices in cases where they had not been produced by the client themselves. The attitude that was aimed for is one of minimal and cool lightness reflecting the premium price tag in a modern way: a natural approach neither too esoteric nor too handmade, but doesn’t hide the brand’s serious organic credibilities.
The client’s main objective was the inclusion of a large amount of professionally produced video content that the magazine should display. The suggested and successful solution was the development of a site that is technically capable to stream video previews without the visitors having to press play first, sparking curiosity and excitement from the onset.
